How can I deliver my photo albums?
You can deliver your photo albums by post or drop them by personally in our head office in Cologne or Dortmund or even in one of our 64 Access points.
Will I get my photo albums back?
Yes, of course you will get your photo albums back together with your digital images.
What about the labelings of my photos in the albums? Are they taken on?
If you choose to have whole pages scanned, all the labelings and writings are taken on. If you want single photos scanned from the album, you also have the option that your labelings also will be scanned.
The pages in my albums are separated by thin sheets in between. Will this cause problems in the scanning process?
No, this won’t be a problem.
Should I rather have whole pages scanned or single photos?
Both options have their advantages:
- Scanning whole pages from the album means that every page is scanned completely and you receive one image file for each page. The advantage is that the layout is kept as in the original and labelings and writings are taken on, too.
- If you want all the photos scanned, every single photo is digitized. The advantage is the pictures then have a higher resolution.
Will the photos be removed from the album during the scan process?
No, everything will stay in its original place.
The colors of my photos have shifted. Can I have this corrected with post-processing?
Yes, we provide an additional service, which will color-correct these color tints and contrast. For comparison you will get back the processed image files and the original ones to see the difference.
