We work strictly in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and handle all sensitive customer information confidentially. “We treat our customers’ memories with the greatest care and confidentiality”, emphasises Lucas Martensen, Production Manager at MEDIAFIX. “All our employees sign a non-disclosure agreement and agree to handle sensitive information confidentially. They are also required to process customer media securely and never share any information or images with third parties”, Martensen continues. “This applies not only to the media itself but also to any other personal data.”

We carefully review each order
Our team monitors every step of the digitization process and handles your media with care. This way, we not only ensure high-quality digitization, but also protect your original media. Humans aren’t perfect. That’s why we have a dedicated quality management team, led by Head of Quality Management, Ömer Öztürk: ‘We check every order thoroughly by randomly selecting individual images or videos and checking them against our strict quality standards. If these are not met, we immediately send the order back to digitization,’ explains Öztürk. ’We then re-digitize blurred images, for example, or videos with severe image interference.”

Your memories are safe
Your media is also stored safely in our warehouse. Our Warehouse Manager, Hicham Mahdad, explains: ‘Each parcel is assigned an individual barcode, which allows us to easily track all order information in our system. In addition to the barcode, we also log the exact storage location of each package. “This prevents media from getting lost or mixed up.’” We also monitor our warehouse around the clock to prevent unauthorised access.
After digitization, we store your data on our own servers for 6 weeks. If something goes wrong during dispatch or storage, we can easily make the media available to you again. To protect your privacy, all media is permanently deleted from our servers after one month.

You like it personal? With our head office in Cologne and our 97 collection points throughout Europe, we offer an alternative to postal delivery. From there, our in-house transport service brings your media safely to MEDIAFIX. Your media will therefore remain in good hands from delivery to collection.
Our customer service is also dedicated to your project – both on site and on the phone. For this, we receive the TÜV certificate for proven customer satisfaction every year. It proofs that we not only digitize your memories with greatest care, but are also friendly and patient in our communication with you.
